Art doesn't have to be about absolute perfection, you can enjoy it and it can be fun.  Learning to observe and work with your materials is a process that can be understood over time while we make the work for our own connected experience.

Creativity in visual arts is, and should always be, a personal interpretation, it doesn't need to be a fitting in with the masses moment.

Don't lose art to the latest space shuttle or robotic trends either. Yeah! Sure! That's going on, but for most of us it is a far reach from our daily lives. A painting by an artist in the living room is going to make someone's day much more easily, affordably and happily, than all that space jazz!
