Merry Christmas and a bit from me!

Merry Christmas and a bit from me!

Merry Christmas and a big welcome to my new customers too, you have been brilliant!

We had a very blustery day off in The Lake District last week. As you may know, when it comes to painting I always think it's worth giving things a go! It was so windy, it was difficult to hold the pages down, after an initial more raucous attempt, I had to sit very low down in the damp moss to get this quick sketch to work in anyway, and just a few minutes as the rain started again.  Lots of fun though!

Thank you for your continued support, I have a few plans for 2025, I will be developing my online sales further into next year and planning events, so I will keep you posted as they unfold.

I have had to put EU sales on hold at the moment while I establish the new GPSR rules, but stick with me as I plan to return to you as soon as possible.
On a more personal note, it's been a great year re-establishing myself as an artist as I near the big 50 and I'm excited to be moving forward with my artwork over the next decade.

Navigating a clear path is challenging, I enjoy married life and raising my lovely 2 (one of each) older teens as they reach adulthood. Although the sense of dissolving into the noise does become greater, as an ageing woman with an art background who likes to strive in this technological age!
I also feel quite determined not to lose my sense of self and fizzle into a destructive pattern of invisibility and comparability when aiming to balance different types of work and income streams, especially as an artist with my own business, under sometimes, the somewhat difficult personal situations that many of us face!

I look forward to finding methods to work this out in ways that are successful for keeping a positive mindset and share this with you. Hopefully meeting others with a similar values and determination on their journey.
Wishing you all the best for 2025 here's to our challenges, may they be experienced with harmony, resilience and vigour!
