Place art exhibition paintings by Rebecca Carr Artist at Ilkley Arts

That’s a wrap for ‘PLACE’ exhibition.

This weekend saw a great small start to re-emerging as a commissioning artist, selling original landscape and still life paintings, artwork and prints…..It takes confidence to support small and I’m pleased to have met a lot of lovely people who did so, online & in person especially as this exhibition was put together in a short amount of time….

Don't you just feel the human spirit of connectedness helps to make us feel more human and valued? I'm looking forward to meeting more of you people who feel this way about art again soon......

Art has always been with me and as a working artist and Mum, I have made it fit into the time availability and had to adapt to working that works around family life. There were lots of people taking the time to come and visit yesterday, encouraging, after a week when it has felt like the odds are against in the uncertain wider world…..

So, to keep on, keeping on with developing my art practice only makes me feel more determined to not give up with my dream of sustainable bigger and better projects in some way!

Thank you you for supporting me by taking what I do as genuinely as your own businesses and work and keep following to find out more!

Next stop is a shopping event, an artisan fair at Ilkley Winter Gardens where I will be taking a few small pieces, prints, jewellery and cards on the 24th November 10-3pm
